I'm considering refinishing the hull and deck of my 33T with Imron/Awlgrip or gelcoat. Am interested in opinion/experience with this kind of project from other owners. Currently in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela.

Thanks for your note. Here in PuertoLa Cruz, Venezuela it's possible to have either new gelcoat or 2-part poly sprayed. Labor costs are quite reasonable, and gelcoat is very labor-intensive. Paint is faster, and the material costs are higher. My question about paint is how long does it take to dull, and how does one repair a scratch or gouge without it looking terrible. It's a big step and, once done, we will have to live with it!
